Brembo Brakes Didn't Fit my Cal Special

Put my brembo brakes on my 14 GT tonight. I was planning on using my Cal Special wheels as I thought with them being 19" wheels they would fit. Well they didn't, hit the calipers. So I guess only track pack wheels fit over the brembo brakes. The Mustang will sit in the garage with no front wheels/tires for a while until I can get some new ones. What to get is my decision now. What is the wheel offset or any other specification needed for the wheels needed to fit over the brembo calipers?

Get some 7/8" or 1" wheel adapters if you want to keep using the CS wheels.

Adapters bolt onto the factory studs and have their own studs for the wheels to mount onto

These are 302s Ford Racing wheels and they do clear Brembo Brakes, or Gabe's option. There are a lot of wheels from Ford that will, not sure on the aftermarket wheels though.
It is not so much the offset, it is how the inside of the wheel is finished to allow the calipers to clear.

Those wheels look fantastic. The CS Wheels are 18's Right. So they will not work with the Brakes?

California Special wheels are 19X8.5 and I believe they have a 50 mm offset.
and Thanks Jazzman, took 2 years to decide on wheels

These AM wheels fit Brembos without spacers (picture is old, I just upgraded to Brembos last month), and are available in three or four finish options, as well as in 18, 19, and 20-inch. I have 18's on my car.

Post another video of that great sounding beast. Did you ever get dyno numbers on it?

450 at the wheels. Took it to the track once to see how fast it would go, and did 13.2 @118mph the way you see it in that picture. If I did some appropriate suspension work, changed to fats/skinnies, and perform some weight balancing, it's easily an 11-second car just based on that trap speed. Assuming I'd get better traction with the stuff I listed above, I would expect an even higher trap speed as well, so low 11's to high 10's would not be out of the question.

I also finally weighed the car - 3660 pounds with a full tank of gas. That's only 50 pounds more than a premium GT of the same model year. Considering I've got a heavy-*** fiberglass hood and a 100-pound mild steel roll cage in the car, it would actually be LIGHTER than a GT if those parts weren't installed on the car.

In the last few months, I've added fiberglass fixed back racing seats and brembo brakes.

The first car show of the season is coming up this weekend, I'll try to get a video of it with the cutouts open.
