The brakes are finally on their last leg at 24k. Well, I've actually pushed it since about 20k. They really need to be replaced asap. Which brakes do you guys recommend? I definitely am upgrading from stock but will keep the stock rotors. I'm just having them turned. Hawks? Ceramic ? Non ceramic? Other brands better? Positives & negatives. Thanks guys.

 

Hawks are great but overpriced. I recommend oem ceramic pads but first have you tried de-galvanizing the old ones yet? That should get you more life in them

 

I'm just ready to upgrade with new brakes instead of degalvanizing. I am also Looking at the gold or platinum brands in ceramic at advance auto/ auto zone and O'Reilly . They're about a 1/3 of the price of Hawks and have a warranty. They have to be better than OEM and the reviews I've seen are fine for non track cars.

 

I put some Hawk hps pads on my 2014 base GT and i love em! They stop my car literally 4 times better than the stock pads, i cant believe the difference in stopping power that just swapping to these pads made, im a Hawk fan for life now!
