Boss302 oem parts?

I was wondering if the boss302 shocks are available yet? I am aware of people singing the praises of koni and all that. Been there done that, got the t-shirt.

I am mainly interested in the shocks, I have a gt brembo car.

Anyone know where and how much do these things run?

I am going for oem+ in this car, possibly a watts link in the future as well.

Why not just get the frpp adjustable suspension kit if you're dead set on ford parts?

This. even just the adjustable shocks/struts should get you there. Aren't those the ones that come OEM on the Laguna Seca (not the reg Boss)?

I don't think that the FRPP strut/shock kits are the same as the Boss LS'.

That would make sense.

I do believe only the LS has the adjustable dampers; the standard Boss 302s are fixed?

Actually, they are both have 5 levels of adjustability, but the LS is more race-oriented and, hence, stiffer. I believe setting 5 on the Boss is barely setting 1 on the LS.

If your going to spend the money why not go with the Koni yellows which are proven to be superior to the Tokico which are on the Boss. The Koni's also have a lifetime warranty. I mean superior due to range of adjustability. You may have the T shirt but you'll still be paying the same for a lesser product.

Koni shocks rely on very stiff springs, their valving is different. I do not wish to change my springs, however having a range of adjustments is a good thing. If I were to do a full swap it would be kw variant 3. Other than those, im going for a bit more than stock. It takes more to chasis tuning than picking and choosing parts from one vendor or another, sometimes the most subtle changes are huge, and other times major changes are equivalent to jumping over the edge. I have no desire to go all out on this vehicle, having some range of adjustment is what I want. Again been there done that. This time im doing things differently. I believe the boss shocks would be a good compliment to the brembo pack springs.

Keep in mind the Boss shocks are valved for the Boss spring rates which are different than the Brembo.

IF I recall correctly they are not that different. Should be a good combo.

No matter what they'll be better than stock by about 100%
