i just ordered two 275 40 19 sumitomo htr z 111 for the rear and will run the 255 40 19 michelin pss up front until the end of the summer than go with the matching sumo;s up front,when i told this to the tech at the tire rack he said they dont recommend using 275;s up front because they will rub,i told him i go on the forums and everyone who runs 275 40 square on the brembo cars dont rub even when lowered,he said well whatever mods they make, i guess they make it work,i kept telling him they dont rub at all even on a lowered or stock suspension and kept insisting according to them (the tire rack) they will rub up front when the wheel is turned all the way or something to that effect!

 

I have 275 40 19 Bridgestones on my stock Brembo wheels without rubbing even at full lock. I went to this set up after lowering. I can't say they wouldn't rub with stock suspension, but I don't see how. My local tire store would not order me the 275 40 19 without measuring the car first, than couldn't get the tires I wanted, so I ordered from tire rack. They called to make sure I knew what I was ordering, since the 275 are not offered as a factory option.

what springs you using laserred 38,btw your car sits perfect and looks great! i,m on stock springs in front,55d in rear with koni strts and gt500 mounts

Big difference in the way the car handles now with the staggered size tire,274 40 19 rear 255 40 19 front,feels like it wants to rotate quicker, laserred 38 what tire pressures do you run??
