I went racing tonight. I think I need the 10 inch slicks. I could not get any traction in First Second or Third with the track Key.

.
Aprox. 27.9"......Tire mfg. list how soft the compound is & not by durometer.
.
" Durometer is one of several measures of the hardness of a material. Hardness may be defined as a material's resistance to permanent indentation. "
.
Suggest you visit Hoosier or MT and look at what they offer.

Sorry about that One of the tire sights referenced durometer for rubber hardness. Im new to all of this terminology. Back when I was racing many many years ago there was not to many options for slicks. I was looking to see what really fits our cars because the tire manufactures dont help with that. Thank you for all fo your help. I love how your car looks in the drag set up and hope to have mine that way.

I think I have what I am looking for MT 275 60 15 Street R or Street R pro. I would only need a 15 x 9 wheel. Would I still need a sway bar relocation bracket?

Also Does anyone know what back spacing and offset i would need?

I don't think they make a 15X9 drag wheel, only in 8" and 10". You can get a 17X9.5 in race stars or you can buy a 15X8 race stars/dark stars and put a 275 on them. MT States the 275 can go on a 8" wheel. If you want the best bang for your buck, look at the sve's at LMR. They are 15X10's, but the relocation brackets will be needed.
Screen shot from MT.

Blown CS I have found a few 15 x 9 but they are out of site for the price. 15 x 8 is very reasonable. 15 x 10 are not bad. I am not sure if there is any benefit to the 10" wide wheels for the 275 15's. I am not sure of the back spacing and offset of the wheels. I am going to call a few wheels manufactures and see what they suggest. Thankx Again..

How close do the 15 inch wheels come to the calipers on your Shelby?

Have never really measured the clearance, suspect an 1/8 to a 1/4". Unable to check as the wheels are not mounted currently.

Blown CS Thankx Again. With all the Venders here you would think they would jump on this kind of information.
