Hey all,

Can you get Track Pack with a 2013 Convertible? Also, if it's an automatic, can the track pack be ordered with it?

I think the 2013 convertibles only get a 3:31 gear if it's a stick, and a 3:15 if it's an auto. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think they're offering the new 13 Shelby Cobras in a vert due to the 650 ponies either..

 

Track pack is manual only. I don't know if its available on the convertibles, but you could check the order guide sticky to see.

GT500s are available in convertibles for 2013.

 

Its now available as an option for an automatic. You lose the sexy engine cover tho.

 

Allow me to clarify with facts....

GT Track Package is ONLY available on GT Coupes with the manual transmission.

The Brembo Brake Package is available on any GT Coupe or Convertible with either transmission.

Neither package (GT Track or Brembo Brake) is available with the California Special.

The 2013 GT500 can be ordered as a coupe or convertible (all are manual transmissions, of course).

The track pack is available for any Mustang coupe (v6 or v8; manual or automatic). According to Ford Motor Company.

 

Go look at the 2013 order guide. GT coupe with manual transmission only.

 

My mistake! The specs for the "performance package" looked so much like the "track pack" that I fell for it. My apologies to Overboost and Brian. I should have realized that 'track' and v6 weren't really meant to go together. I do still find the performance package a very interesting option for street use though.
