1/2" drop front and rear?

For the most part, I don't like lowering a car like a Mustang. I don't like the look when they're slammed to the ground. I was wondering if there is anything out there that would just lower my '08 Bullitt about half an inch in the front and back? I know there are Ford Racing P-Springs that drop the car a full inch, but I think even that's too much. I think half an inch would make it sit perfectly. Is this possible at all or no?

Roush has a suspension package for the 10-14 Mustang that features a 1/2" drop. Not sure if that can be retrofitted to the 05-09 or not, but might be worth asking that question.

Do you happen to have a link to that specific kit?

Also, if anyone has any pictures of their cars dropped 1/2" I would love to see them.

That's the only kit I've seen with that mild of a drop. I'm sure you can buy the springs separately, and stands to reason that if you pair em with a 10-14 strut/mount they'd fit your car, being that the 10-14 people can do the same with 05-09 equipment.

I'm looking at the Ford P springs personally (along with Steeda Sport and Eibach Pro). Basically the 3 out there with the mildest drops aside from this Roush kit, which is a little TOO mild for my taste.

I can't believe I never saw the roush springs before. I would have purchased those instead of the steeda sports. I wonder if those springs are available separately.

I'm tempted to try the P-Springs, but in the back of my mind I'm afraid even the 1" drop will make the car look too low to the ground. I can't believe that Roush kit is so expensive compared to those other three you mentioned.

I'm concerned about the same thing. Rog13GTCS and Plim today posted pics of identical STR.T/GT500 mount setups today, but with Steeda and Eibach springs, respectively. Even though they're listed with very similar drops, the Steeda springs look too low for my tastes, whereas the Eibach looks perfect. Both will inevitably settle slightly, but I can safely say Steeda is off my list. Still see pics of P spring setups that I really like, but don't know what else is in the setup or if its a fresh install or already settled.

I would rather have the car sit too high as opposed to sitting too low if I had to pick. At least with the stock stance it looks like an old muscle car. When it's too low it just looks nothing like a Mustang to me. That's why I think the 1/2" drop would be ideal, but for $1400...I dunno if that's worth it.

Like I said, you'd probably need springs/struts/mounts, but you don't NEED the swaybars and associated gear. It's just a matter of tracking down those springs as a separate piece, get some good performance struts (Koni STR.T's are on huge sale right now) and you're there.

Stock hight and i still scrape parking curbs here and there. If i go lowere (not tooooo much) im gonna install front parking sensors and rear sensors as well.
Ive been looking into the P springs and steeda as well but i think the roush will be your best bet since theyre so mild on the drop

Call Hypermotive. My understanding is some of the Koni struts actually drop the front due to a slightly different bolt up location. Then you can use 55D springs on rear for 1/2" drop. I have the rear done right now, front to be done in the fall.

Now this is very interesting. I've been wondering about this since I've been seeing some cars that look lower than others on same springs. I was assuming differences in mounts. Any pics to back this up?

Sorry, I have no pics. I know I read this a few times while I was looking. Like I say, call Hypermotive and get some expert input.

Also remember you tire size impacts how well you fill up the wheel well and the overall stance/look. I run 275/40-19, part of the reason is to better fill the well.

H&R OE Sports will give you a .75" drop. I had to remove them, as it got too low in the front with my SC.. So those are inexpensive, work with OE shocks and you can have mine cheap.
