Anyone getting the same attention?

Is it me or do all Boss owners get such attention when they drive their cars.

I have never had a car in my life that gets so many waves, comments, looks etc. I came out of Ace yesterday and a bunch of people were standing around the car admiring it.

I have had some nice cars in my time, Porches etc, but none that attract the attention of the Boss.....

Is it just SBY or do other colors get the same?

I really nice lady walked past the car the other day and whispered "very sharp"... I said, yes and the cars not bad either...lol...

Phil..

Right there with you Phil.
I get so many extremely flattering comments that its almost embarrassing.
Take care of yourself and I hope that you enjoy the heck out of your car.

There's a sushi bar my girlfriend and I go to every Sunday for lunch. The whole side of the building is glass so you can see out to the parking lot. The first Sunday I pulled the Boss in I could see everyone inside pulling out to their phones to take pictures. And this is the kind of place you'll often see Karma Fiskers, Porches, Lambos, etc. Lots of nods and "nice ride" comments as we walked in.

Now I'm actually disappointed when I take the Boss out and somehow the people around me fail to realize how cool I am. How's that for a big head!?

I'm sure Boss drivers get more attention, but I've been stunned by how many people want to look and talk to you for driving a Mustang, period. In the last three months it's almost daily, for me - last week a Metrobus driver leaned out of his window at a stop light to talk and compliment the car. It's pretty amazing.

I won't forget the first time it happened because it was so startling: the day after I brought the car home I was waiting for someone in a McDonalds parking lot and this guy getting into his perfectly nice truck next to me looked down and said "trade you."

Another guy not in a Boss but like others have said I was surprised how many heads my DIB GT turns. Even my gold '79 Trans Am never gets as many looks, shouts, and thumbs up. And that car just screams for attention lol. A few days after buying the stang I told my parents it's like I belong to an exclusive club I never knew existed.

I've gotten that "trade you" line a couple times.

I'm picking up my SBY LS tomorrow. I'll let you know, I have a 70 mile ride home. If it was anything like the Shelby I'm expecting thumbs up.

I had a lady yell out at me on monday... "WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR CAR???" I yelled back "FORD", her reply as she started to jump around in her seat as if she was sitting on hot coals.. "LOVE IT!!!!" I had to just chuckle..

Well what can I say... until you get a Boss you will never know I mean, it doesn't matter how fast it is in a straight line, doesn't matter how much it costs, it is just never going to have the pedigree of a Boss..:-)

I even get a lot if comments on my 10 SGM GT. I was at the gun range the other day putting in paperwork for a new pistol. When was at the other counter getting some cleaning stuff after doing that the guy who did my paperwork was looking out front and asked if that was my Mustang. He and a couple other were all like "Man, that's sharp!"
