Look for pics of a 2013 GT500 in DIB with factory black stripes

The stripes will be flat black 2013 only

2014s use gloss black

I thought the same thing

I originally ordered my Shelby in DIB with black and quickly changed my mind to white with black because I was really unsure of the original color

I don't like matte or gloss black on the DIB. I want to put stripes on mine but I just don't like black or silver and white just looks too plain to me. Anybody see any cool color combinations out there on a DIB Mustang? I'd love to see more!

whatever you put on it, make sure you will like it day in-day out. Not just for the novelty of it. I considered silver and other colors and decided, that for the life of the car, i'd always be happy with white at the end of the day.

That's why I went with metallic silver so it isn't plain and the flake matched the flake in the DIB paint.

The problem im having is the white looks a little plain IMO, which is what most DIB have. I think the only other colors would be black (matte or gloss) or silver, like a lighter silver. One of my friends does graphic designing I might ask for some renderings of some colors he thinks would match good!

Could try yellow similar to the blue angels color? Or red stripes would work as well

I almost went with white stripes, but I saw Stevedotmil's car and instantly fell in love.

I think the thinner stripes work really well with the shape of the 10+ models. The thick stripes just make it look bulkier than it already is. I mean on some cars it works (with the right exterior mods) but for stock or mostly stock the thinner stripes work best.

Great looking ride Steve!

Thanks. The install wasn't very hard if you have patience and the ability to use a measuring tape and some painters tape. I have something new in store in a bit that has to do with my stripes. Everyone will know it when they see it.
