New DIB owner

Well after waiting a few months for my car to get here it has finally arrived! 2013 GT premium M6 Brembo package and Accessories package 5. I have added a set of GT500 axle that I painted the mufflers black and left the tips chrome. I also added a JLT oil passenger side separator. Loving the car so far just hit 200 miles on it yesterday. The axle back sounds great but not loud.

The day I picked it up

Very nice to see another DIB 5.0 in Germany. Where are you stationed? I'm in the Vilseck/Graf area. What wing is that? I don't think I have seen that one before.

Welcome to the club. Looks great. What plans do you have for it? That is a monster wing. Do you have pics of it from the rear?

That's the pedestal spoiler, with some angles making it look very pronounced. Look great though doesn't it!!?! Awesome car and congrats!!

Those pics do make it look huge but I think it looks really good. Yes it is the factory pedestal mount spoiler. I didn't really want the accessory package 5 which is the spoiler side scoops and quarter window louvers, but now that I have I like it.
I'm in the Kasierslatern area.

Cool. Hit the autobahn yet? You aren't that far from me really. 3 hours or so.

Cool maybe we can met up sometime? I have only seen one other DIB mustang here and it is a V6. Yes been out on the autobahn a few times but nothing crazy yet trying to put some miles on in it before giving it hell!
I should be heading to Bamberg for a car show on 27th. Not sure how far that is for you.

It's about an hour of very twisty mountain roads to get there. What are the specifics of the show. I was going to go to the StreetCulture.de meet tonight in Nuremburg but it's flippin raining. Tonight was the season opener (officially) and there were a bunch of us from here that were going to go. That was until it started raining. They were all going to go to the Nurburging on sunday too but most likely won't be doing that either because of the weather.

Hopefully this weekend will be nice.
I am really liking that DIB. The was one of my choices for car color. Really pops out in the sun after being detailed.

Did you shift up to 6th or leave it 5th? When you are going that fast and you shift up to 6th you can really get a sense of just how much of an Overdrive gear 6th really is. Leave her in 5th and she will pull strong all the way up until you hit the limiter at 155. She gets there fast too.

I left it in 5th. I just need to head more out of town or later in the evening so there is less traffic

A few small upgrades. I got some vinyl inserts for the hood and tint for the fogs. Looks good and doesn't seem to cut down on the lights. Also went out to hockenhiem for some drag racing waited in line for 4 hours to make one crappy pass. Definitely need some practice but its not happening here in Germany.

Yeah not a fan of the Hockenhiem for drag racing anyway. What was your time?
