Looks like somebody just got his license! Lucky Dog! I was stuck with a $2000 13 year old v6 Camaro. Less than half the horsepower of your car! Heck I didn't even top 300hp till I was in my 20's w/ a hopped up GTP.

I have been saving for this car since I was 7. Working my *** off every summer and picking up any little jobs I can and buying and selling collectibles on ebay.
I bought this car myself and am very proud of that.

Congrats sir. dib or kona is a win win in my book. Enjoy it in good health.
Btw, if what you are saying is true and not bs, kudos to you. But if you are 15 or 16, and saved up 25 thousand dollars or more, I find that hard to believe. ESP with your parents LETTING you buy a 25K car rather than putting it towards college or the like. But again, if you're being truthful, I eat my words. congrats.

For free! Ok, who do you know that works there?
I like the look of the GT grill. So how does it all work? You had fog lights in the lower grill. Now you have GT fog lights in the upper grill. Do they all work? Which ones light up the road better on your car? It must look like a spaceship at night with all those lights in the front of your car.
Let's see a full frontal of your car now.

I would think that the GT ones will light up better because the bottom ones don't even make a difference.

Congratulations on getting your first new car - great choice on the color - and it's no one's business but yours how you paid for it. What's important is that you got the car you always wanted. Enjoy the hell out of it.

Boy, attention to detail! Now that you point it out it is bothering me too. The chrome pony doesn't work with the black and blue theme. What would work best, some black model paint like Testors enamel and a small brush?

I would use the Plasti-dip that is all the rage now. Use blue painters tape to mask off the badges on the car (and a strip for the red white and blue if you want to keep the stripes colored - would really compliment your DIB...). Search the forum for plastidip threads on how to use it. It's removable so you can try it out and see if you like the look. I'd do the grille pony and rear faux gas cap medallion too (leaving the stripes red white and blue to match the fender emblems).
Yeah I am a stickler for having everything match, but made to look like it came that way! I'd also paint your brake calipers black with G2. It hides the ugly stock calipers silver (that gets all dirty after a few thousand miles).
