This logic is part of the reason I passed on a Grabber Blue GT when I was car shopping. But, on the other hand, I've wanted a Screaming Yellow/Chrome Yellow Mustang since the mid 90's and only got Race Red because Ford hasn't made the right yellow since the first couple years of the SN-95. If you love it, go for it man. You're not buying a Mustang to blend in or be practical so if you love it, do it.

What gorgeous detailing - love the inside of the tailpipes! Is that powdercoating or what?

I've had my GHIG for almost a year now - it's an amazing color and hasn't worn on me at all. I'm happy I have my green 5.0 and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I would consider Comp. Orange an "extreme" color, and after two years I still don't think I'll ever get tired of the color. I think selling a rare color car like GHIG would be easier than selling a boring ordinary color. The ONLY reason my car caught my attention at the lot was the color and I couldn't pass on it realizing how rare the color is (at least in my area).

Wow this guy went all out. Tail pipes, Green head rest, slimer logo on the back, slimer vinyl on the front bumper, etc. It's not exactly my preference in style of vehicle, but I certainly respect their attention to detail.

I dd my 14 GHIG and have had more compliments on the color than any other car I have owned, including a Sonic Blue 03Cobra.

Do you think they will offer the gotta have it green for the new mustang coming out, if I get the green I kind of don't want them to continue the color so it's more of a rare choice. I just wanna make the sure the green will hold up since I will be DD this car all year round.

I don't think they will. It's a color that can only work on a few body types IMHO

Sadly not true. The market is dictated by a majority and a majority of people don't want extreme colors like that. Your color only appeals to a very limited group, and the color won't have as high if demand. It's simple economics.

Both GHIG & DIB are going to be a pain to touch up for rock chips & accident repair. My wife really liked the DIB & Candy Red in bright sunlight. But we decided to go with PW since it will be so much easier to touch up without having to take it to a professional painter.
