Gotta Have It Green and the Fall colors
On the Blue Ridge Pkwy yesterday at the peak of the local western N Carolina Fall colors. Even the last photo at the entrance rest area was beautiful. Probably just 1 day left as a storm is forecast which should say farewell to the leaves.Photos taken late in the afternoon with strong sun but the temps were cooling fast, from 53 degrees when we started to 40 degrees later...

Such a short season.
It's all gone for the most part. The good news is that it is supposed to touch 80 degrees this weekend before the cool Autumn weather hits us on Monday.

29 degrees this morning and it's basically all gone. Went up to the local pullout at about 4,000' two days ago in the Dodge, Just small patches remain.
