Close up Shots of Gotta Have It Green
I'm keeping an open mind that they may not be the same color regardless of code and name. But from what Iv'e seen so far, they're the same color.

Everything looks better with some black accents added, but I don't think it'll look good enough without them to stick around very long.
Grabber Blue
Performance White
Deep Impact Blue
Race Red
Red Candy Tint
Black
Ingot Silver
Sterling Gray
I love the colour green if the manufacturer GETS IT right! I was hope-ing for a GREEN colour from Ford on a Mustang, but I am let down once again! I thought that Ford might bring back Electric Green ala 99-02 Mustangs, but we get this washed out green colour! Like many I will reserve final judgement once I see it in person on a dealer lot, if the dealer is BRAVE enough to order it and have it sit for a year and then sell it below invoice (then I might consider buying it as it will be a collectors at Barrett Jackson some 20 years from now)! And how come an OEM supplier like Roush can strike a better deal, for a limited production run, on better colours for their Premier Edition RS3's with Sherwin Williams?? And those are some colours that pop, that are vibrant, that people would want to own! I love the Sassy Grass Pearl they had on the Barrett Jackson edition for 2010! Now thats my favourite GREEN hue to have on this Mustang body style! These are my 5cents worth! What do you think??
P.S. and yes whoever said that we should be a lil more brave with colour choices, then maybe we will get more colour options was right! I am tired of all these GRAY hues with diff names! The typical Red, White and Blue, and the MUST HAVE Black in Cali! I have 2 red Mustangs and I want a change! How about Ford brings back the colour codes that are optional like in the 60's where you bring the dealer a swatch of colour and they build you a Mint Green 67 Mustang if thats what you want! I'd pay up $1000 estra on a Pony if I could have that even as a dealer option, and order my car from Galpin Ford (GAS)!!!!

While Awesome is white, she's also unique with a specially painted front lip, sills, and cheatline of the GT500 rear bumper of HR010 Hot Rod Black, a perfectly satin ultra black. She also has a chrome multibar grille that also surrounds the driving lamps, and has a customized dash with hand vinyled dash plates, which are also custom painted with either glossy black rings, or satin black vents/cylinders, along with the black handles, and a black Eboot. She is only lacking a black shift ****, which is next, and her interior will be completely blacked out except the lights (can't change the green, sorry) and the horn button.
She will be getting 2010 GT500 wheels and tires very soon, and her tint is going to be redone as well, and soonest I can, she'll also be exchanging her current polished tipped grey mufflers for black satin mufflers with chrome rolled tips, custom pained by yours truly.
Oh, and I'll also be custom painting a compete set of engine covers to that same satin black, but KEEPING the chrome accents, and soon enough, I'll also have rewired the tail lamps to where all three lamps come on for the brakes, not just the outer two.
I am toying with acquiring a second GT spoiler and painting THAT HR010 so I can swap those at will, and contemplating swapping out the fender emblems for something... different... but I've not found anything adequate to do so. When that happens, though, the rear faux gas cap will also be swapped with the v6 one so it's got the pony instead of that awful GT (I just don't like the look of that script.)
And the shorty black antenna. Can't forget that.
While these are admittedly not on the tame side compared to some, she is a very pretty car, and is unique in all the world, there is NOTHING like her, because she's MINE, and nobody else has done what has been done, and is going to be done, in the combination I'm doing it for her.
Conformist? Pfft. Call someone else out.

//Oh yeah, by the way, twice stopped... simply because she's pretty, and they wanted to harass me. I don't speed.
///... much.

Some of the most common colors are black, white, and silver/grey. They're simple, classy, professional, and they blend well. That's always gonna be true, and that's how it's always gonna be. Some colors just look like ****, and that'll always be true as well. Lighter/brighter colors always draw more attention, and most people aren't looking to draw attention to themselves everytime they run to the store. Darker colors will always be more popular.
Darker colours will always be popular in the US, and therefore you have proven the conformist theory! Have you checked out the FORD colours available in Europe or Brazil?? Mustang will be a global car in 2 years; why do you think they brought out the Gotta Have It Green?? All I said in my 5cent sermon was keep your dark colours, but allow for a dealer installed (read-painted, to differ cost from the manufacturer) colours option as Ford had in the 60's, thats all! So for the majority that wants to conform, keep the dark colour, and for us few ou there that want something different, well we are willing to pay a little extra to play, so give us the option! this is not Roe VS Wade!!

I have set up a Facebook group to get Ford to give us School Bus Yellow on the 2013 GT and V6, please join!

For me, I'd love either Grabber Blue or School Bus Yellow on a '13. But put those colours on any other car and I think I'd hate them! The colours are all part of theh history of the Mustang.

I too hail from the EU, not the UK, but live in the US, and am aware of Mustangs history! All I am saying is that there should be variety, and available from the manufacturer, but variety that is quality! If Ford was looking to save cost ( as is not the case here) then they should have given us Forest Green Metallic like on the F350 Super Duty trucks! I would have preffered that color, and would order a 2013, instead I am leaning towrds a Roush Premier Edition 2012! And to address "stupidgenius36", I want the paint option to come from the factory or OEM supplier like Roush, where you know its quality and has a registry for it! If I take it to MAACO, its not the same! Again to re-iterate----VARIETY! I dont begrudge the shades of gray or silver if you will, and to each his own! I stated b4 I perosnally think that this particular GREEN is washed out looking in pics, but reserve final judgement once I see it in person! Even if its puke green as Dodge Neon of yore, its Variety, not quality, but variety! After all this I just might go and order a puke green mustang from my dealer, just to be a statistic! How come Chevy got it right on the Camaro?
