Thank you Darren. I like the darks and the highlights. I wasn't expecting it to come out like that.
Thanks Burton.
If it were me,...........I would do your car. Build it to be a beast and a half. lol You know the car inside and out and that would be one less car to insure. Imagine the boost and power out of a forged engine?? With today's tuning? The power would be insane! You could be at 800RWHP easily. Add some suspension, extra strong clutch and some racing half shafts.
Good luck bro.
Looks awesome Tony! That rear spoiler is subtle. I like it because it reminds me of my GT500, except the Roush one curves more to cover the fenders.
As far as my hunt, I'm still just gathering ideas. Waiting on the wifey and other financial plans before pulling the trigger. Half of me also says, why not just pay more $$$ to make Marilyn even more bada$$? Say, forged crate motor, plus 2.9 whipple, etc etc etc? Would be cheaper or same as used 20-30k vehicle

I almost went with the chrome wheels. That is
.Yes,....a beauty it is Tom. Very nice. And convertible too.
Tony... holy cow. I must say, your car is looking good. Don't know what it is, but it's looking really good in the above pics.
The pic above against the office buildings is stellar. Nice job. What LSP are you using?

Honestly bro, all I use is the Zaino Z2 PRO Show Car Polish and I just finish it up with Z8 Grand Finale Spray Seal. I did polish the car last year and the first year that I had it. I did not polish it this year, but will be in the upcoming late spring.

Yeah, believe me, I know where you're coming from. It's not so much the polish that costs me the money, since I just have to use a little at a time.
It's the Z8 detail/Seal Coater that costs me the money as well as the super soft detailing microfibers towels. More so the microfiber towels though. (It's 12 bucks for a 2 pack.
) I use them once and throw them away. Unless they are not too bad and then I'll use them again only on the wheels on the daily driver.

. I have probably washed mine over 10 times. Any old ones become wheel and engine compartment rags after

Holy cow tony! Even by my standards that's overkill!!! I machine wash mine, often. I go through my clean pile often. You've never washed them? They're perfectly fine if washed

What's the steps in washing them? Do you wash them at home or at a laundramat? What brand microfiber towels do you use?
I use the Sonus microfiber towels.

I read somewhere on a detailing forum that there was a huge-to-do in washing the microfiber towels.
^ Negative ghost rider. Yeah, they come out like new. I've had the same set maybe for about 1-2 years. Like I said, when they get thin, I relegate them for wheels, or tires, or metal polishing. But yes, they remain soft after washing, and continue to provide me a swirl free finish (I should know - you know me and my detailing addiction)

Yeah, if they're good enough for you, they must be good to use.
I may try washing. Thanks Burton.

Correct... I think I stated above, no softener. That will change the consistency of the fibers for some reason (makes them too soft? lol), and makes them really bad at removing wax or detail spray.
