GT500 spoiler
I've been thinking about getting a GT500 spoiler for my Race Red 2013. I can't say I've seen anyone on here with one besides actual GT500's. I'd like to see what it looks like without the stripes that most GT500's have though. Does anyone on here with a Race Red mustang have the GT500 spoiler with pictures? Thanks in advance

I have a pre-painted American Muscle GT500 spoiler on mine. However, the Gurney flap is part of the spoiler and the same color. The guy who did my stripes covered the flap in matte black auto wrap and you can't tell the difference from an OEM spoiler. It sure saved a few bucks with aftermarket.

GT500 spoiler
If you order it from CJ Pony Parts it comes with the molded gurney flap painted matte black. It's probably one of my favorite mods to my car (after exhaust). It makes the rear of the car less rounded which I prefer.

The spoiler on my car is an actual GT500 spoiler with the detachable Gurney Flap. From 10 feet away, nobody can tell if it's molded in or the actual 2 piece spoiler, but I like knowing that it's an original part and looks correct up close.
Oh, and it's painted satin black with a flat black Gurney Flap.

My 2011 Race Red GT with 3D Carbon pre-painted GT500 spoiler, with black Gurney flap. CJ Pony Parts $300. I really like the accent of the black Gurney flap. Easy install (but difficult to remove OEM small spoiler, if you have that). Pics below:

hmmmm do you guys think I should do it on my car? I don't plan any other exterior mods... Sometimes I think it sticks out too much, but then sometimes I think it looks awesome

I think the GT500 spoiler adds a whole lot to a Mustang...coupe or convertible.

True. Or maybe I should get this spoiler: https://themustangsource.com/forums/...d-12-a-499828/

The difference in the look above is the angle. The looking down on the car with artificial light is casting a shadow over the lower part of the car making it seems like the spoiler does stick out too far. But, if you look at PJRManagements sideview, you can see that it balances out the rear of the car. The factory look angles forward and with the factory spoiler, it continues the raised butt look. The GT500 spoiler or the Roush spoiler extend beyond the taillights and gives the car a more balanced look. I also think the pedestal spoiler achieves a similar look.
You should just do it!!

Check out my side by side comparison of the oem vs 3d carbon. Just do a search in these threads. The gt 500 spoiler has many differences if you look carefully.

I like the angles on the 3D spoiler, but not sure I will like it if it's so much bigger and they suffer from those waves. I saw another car with the 3D spoiler and you could see the waves
