Thanks. I sprung for the XZILON interior and exterior protection package from my dealership and so far it is working like a charm although no food or drink is ever allowed in my 'stang. If there was to be a blemish, all I need to do is wipe it off with a clean damp cloth. I never realized the silver stripe goes nicely with the stone interior. I'm looking at it differently now. Also, I am now thinking that both your configuration and mine may be the only ones that exist.

 

My girlfriend is buying a Lava Red V6 tomorrow. it's such a unique color and it's really cool that only 519 exist.

I think I shoud have gone with the Lava Red interior. I had heard about it, but never saw one until I saw the pics on here. It looks better that I imagined it would.

 

I was VERY nervous about it. That interior had not been in the showrooms yet in my area, so I ordered it sight unseen. Really happy with it.

 

Where did you find the 2012 Take Report from Ford? Access to this would be extremely helpful to all Lava Red owners I'm sure.

Wont tell you how many Lava Red cars with Brembo brakes, HIDs and EPs there are but it will tell you the percentage of GT Coupes made with each individual option.

I'm so bummed. I couldn't order the lava exterior ad my dealer couldn't find a single one on his data base when I bought mine but between Mexico and LA he found 1 V6 with the Lava interior. I love it. Gotta say it really makes the car stand out better than the plain black interior. Never got a chance to see the other in riots except the tan .
