Any confirmation that it's Vito?

There is another thread on the subject making this thread a rerun.

George, maybe I just skipped some posts, or I just fail at reading comprehension (which I'm frequently guilty of lol) but I don't see where anyone is being hard on Vito. I've seen a few wisecracks, but that's to be expected.

I do agree people shouldn't take pleasure in other's misfortunes, but I don't see anyone doing that here.

Me personally I'm just a bit shocked by the whole scenario. Can't even imagine what the parties involved are having to deal with...

Agreed, I don't think anyone is taking joy at this, nor do they seem to be lashing out at the member in question.
While there have been a few posts attempting humor, I think it's just an example of dark humor. No harm is mean't, it's just the kind of thing you would see when people are not personally connected to the person or the situation.

That's exactly the point. Additional humiliation is far from our core.

Has anybody thought of the possibility of the driver reading these posts or lurking on other Boss threads and not being able to post? Part of the Mustang experience is not just having the car but sharing the passion with a group of friends at the end of the day.

The event itself and its subsequent penalties is punishment enough.

Well I guess the news shouldn't cover a car crash of any type either.

Sounds to me like your just looking for a reason to make an arguement. Accidents happen all the time. They get reported all the time. No reason that this one is so special that it shouldn't be reported.

The picture of his accident should be a stark reminder to all of us the sort of thing that can happen in the blink of an eye when driving a high performance car. It should also be a reminder of what could happen if you drink and drive. It has the potential to absolutely destroy lives. I'm sure he's remorseful but these are things you need to think about before getting behind the wheel of a car.

Whammer I totally agree!! Oh and GT500 has more bull**** to troll about....so sick of his **** especially if this is Perry's car

It sounds as if you know very little to reach such conclusion and then following the very trend you criticize.

Regardless, the points regarding this matter are clear and additional comments would be pointless.

I understand where you're coming from.

And vito if you're reading this, I'm sorry it happened to you man. Hopefully everyone makes it out ok. We all make mistakes at one point or another, some small, some big. And I'm definitely not in a place to be casting stones

As far as I can tell that's still just speculation.

who give's a rats ***, i'd take him out of the "Boss crowd" and chalk him up into the "drunk driver" category, regardless if this is Big Vito or not.

i have no sympathy for someone who drinks, then proceeds to get behind the wheel and do over TRIPLE the speed limit in a residential neighborhood.

No sympathy for whoever it was from me. If someone is stupid enough to go that fast on a public street after drinking that much, they deserves everything the law can throw at them. Hope they spend some time in jail thinking about what they've done.

Very sad for the car, especially being a LS. The car did not deserve a death like that. Boss's deserve a death sliding off a racetrack at 130+ mph. Not a tree in a residential area.

RIP Boss.

I didn't see the article the first time, now that I've read it. I feel bad...for the guy that owns the jeep. Another A-hole getting plastered and getting behind the wheel, too bad he wasnt the only victim.
