Um, aren't we all forgetting the Boss 351? That would be far more likely to be resurrected than the Boss 9, IMHO... Maybe the SVT boys could bore out the 5.4L that in the GT500, a nice paint job here, a killer set of mags there, badda bing, badda boom, Boss 351!

that's all fine and good, but tuxedo black is not a mustang color so that is irrelevant. i would assume the only colors possibly affected would be the metallic maroon color you can get on standard stangs, the boss simply isn't affected by this only YB is metallic and the silver which is apparently not affected either. I am Very familair with tuxedo black, the wife has a 10 edge that color.

slow kids? dude what part of TUXEDO BLACK IS NOT A MUSTANG COLOR do you not get? Look at that sho in the pic, see that color, it is a maroon that is metallic. i had one exactly like it as a review car form ford, that is not a mustang color, does that look anything like race red to you? race red is not metallic, have you seen a race red car? those colros are not even in the same ballpark. if you are going to inslut someone, be sure you know WTF you are talking about.

Dude you really seem like it is a must everyone believes everything you write, then you go off insulting people ???

I spoke with Ford's Mustang Marketing Director a few days ago. He was upfront with delays about parts but never said anything about paint being an issue. There were some colors like Lava Red that are effected but the dealers were asked not to order the color for stock, that means they still have some for customer orders.

In any case you may be correct but it is not worth all the BS. Rumors are just that, when and if it happens we shall all know.

I could see Ford doing an aluminum blocked 6.2. But that remains to be seen.

 

I talked to the porter at the local Ford dealer and he said the 429 is a fact. Should be on lots this time next year.

 

Whole lotta drama with these '10 and up folks. Touchy bunch.
