Wheels / Tires. Widest we can go
Hey.. Sorry again i searched and while people have posted up what they have or got.. I havnt seen a discussion regarding this.
Generally what I wanted to know is what is the widest tire you can stick under these cars without any issues like scrubbing or rubbing etc
On my Z, over the 3 years i had alot of time to figure it out, but just having got this, i havnt seen enough yet.
Also preferably if anyone has an idea what type of wheel offset one would need to do so.
Thanks

Depends on what your willing to do to get there. Using the stock rims/on my GT500 I was able to go with a 305mm width tire in the rear and I know people who have successfully ran 285mm width tires in the front.
With modification to the rear suspension and inner fender ( relocating the bump stops in board and using something like White line's relocated sway bar) you could run a 315mm width tire and possibly even a 325mm width tire with the proper width rim and offset for each.
Not sure about the front as the absolute widest I've seen is a 295mm width front but that may have entailed some rubbing???

thats Bob thats what im mostly looking for. I would like not to adjust anything. Def no body work. For E.G on my Z i could fit a 285 front and 335 rear with no body or suspension modifications using the right offset. 33 front and 27 rear
to go wider, beyond what is good for the oem wheels, I would def pick up new wheels. So offset can be selected.
