What have you done to/with your Boss 302 this week?

You're gonna need a good camber gauge if you're going to debate about 0.2* of camber.
My method is just dump the plates full inboard, then pull them out (if necessary) based on tire temp readings (unless you have a known good setup for the car already established at that particular track).

Yea makes sense but surprisingly I could get up to -2.8 on mine. With tire temps and wear pretty even at 2.2 I'm going with that for now. I think at 2.8 I'd be eating up the insides and wrestling it on the street wit the ruts/crowns etc.

So you're saying you don't adjust the camber when you leave the track?!

I usually don't care about that, lol.
Car toes out when you increase negative camber (good for track) and toes in when you remove negative camber (good for street).
Not scientific or even precise, but f*ck it. I'm lazy sometimes.
If we were talking about a competition car where every hundredth of a second matters, yes, by all means. For an HPDE car? Who cares.

Going to install my brake ducts tonight, I think. Maybe take a shot at porting over the KR axle overflow can as well.
Ordered blank front rotors for use at the track as well as JLT catch can today.

Sorry for my ignorance, But would you mind explaining the difference between the street boss and the Boss 302R radiator (again). Or, if there is an article, just a link.
Will this eliminate the need for he oil cooler that Cool Tech LLC is working on?
Thanks

One of the issues with cooling is elevation. MMP in SLC and HPR in CO are at significant elevations which diminish cooling capacity by 15-20% so everyone's cooling needs will vary depending on conditions.

Interested to see all the test results that will be coming soon from yourself and nota4re...
Not excited to fire off another $1K projected in cooling mods, however :-/

Camber Plates, Boss lineup at dealership
Got the MM camber plates in today. They set them at -2.4 degrees.
Gary's Boss was there too for the radiator.
As you can see, I'm in the lead at the service exit lineup.![Banana](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/banana.gif)

So when do you guys go head-to-head at the track? ![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Edit: Anything to note during the installation? Any special parts needed to mount up to the BOSS struts? My MM CC plates are on the way now...

Drew,
Don't know on the plates.
I bought the MM plates for 2011+, and asked the service folks to have the same guy install mine as did Gary's. I dropped it off at 7:45 for plates and alignment, and they called at 10:30 that it was ready. Tossed them my credit card, and was done. Not sure if they needed to replace any other parts.
Gary and I will be on the track for the Mustang event at MPH in September. I'm pretty sure the only time he'll be behind me is when he has lapped me, again.

Long range forecast is 85F, but it seems like it always gets hotter down there than the forecast. Hope it's 90+. Either way I have enough track days in the Boss in mid 80F ambients to know if it helped. I usually am in the 240s ECT at that ambient so am hoping it stays in the 230s. Will definitely report back!
