Thanks everyone. So far I haven't seen any nice pics of the Race Red Boss. Was hoping for someone with Photoshop skills being able to cook up one for me! I have all the pix I took of the grabber blue one that was at the NEIAS in Boston in January...

Already told the dealer, do NOT drill holes in the front bumper. However, have you all noticed how the 2013's appear to already be 'pre drilled' with pilot holes? I saw this on the GB Boss at the show, and on the 2 GT's that were on the lot at my dealer...

That's how they all come. The 2012 had them too.

 

Yep. They're really just divots that serve as a guide for screws. Not nearly as noticeable in real life.

 

Interesting, I did not know that. With all the hoopla about 'not drilling' holes I would have guessed there were none at all. Since we need front plates in NH, my wife's came with the front bracket already on.

 

More like dimples really. Mine are hardley visible. That pic looks worse than it is.

 

Yeah, they are barely noticeable. I am really psyched that I got the chance to order my Boss, so the dealer will not discard any of the plastic, or have a chance to put swirl marks in the paint. I'll drive it home and be ready to get it washed and waxed properly, with the appropriate amount of pix and video.

With a Sept/Oct delivery, the fall foliage here should provide quite a nice scenic ride for the maiden voyage home. My brother in law predicted the first 5 months will fly by, but the last 1 will seem like forever after I get my VIN & build date.

Seems like only yesterday I was reading this forum last year around this time, jealous of all the lucky 2012 Boss owners! Now I will save every nickel for that big down payment this fall. I've only had my own 'brand new' car of my own for about 2.5 yrs, so this will be a real treat. Sure I've been able to drive the wife's new Hondas over the years, but it's just not the same. Nothing like enjoying your own car that you scrimped and saved for.

 

Yes they do. Same with the Boss. VERY VERY frustrating!
