What does it REALLY need to play hard?

Schroth has already tested their 4 point comp belts, with and without cages/harness bars. This isn't some fly-by night shop either, they are very reputable when it comes to harnesses; probably one of the best in the industry. Their 4 point belts are DOT tested and approved (US-DOT FMVSS 209) for street use.
i wont get into a debate on here about them though, because half the people who comment that 4 points arent safe/tested/etc. are simply regurgitating rumors they've heard on the internet. if you are curious about the topic, check out Schroth's website which has plenty of documents on testing they've done.
heres a clip of them sled testing their 4 point HANS compatible "quick fit" harness; same setup I run. http://www.schrothracing.com/sdocs/Q...Crash_Test.wmv

- think about it: When Racer-Joe secures his 4-point Schroth harness to his '97 Miata, he can be sure, much like the Mazda and their crash tests, that he can withstand certain types of impact, safely? This is why there are issues teching such items.

i think Racer-Joe could survive a miata crash with a rubber band holding him down. those things top out at what, 45? lol . not gonna argue the points anymore, dont wanna clutter up the thread. You can see Schroths testing info on their site. If I were Joe, I'd trust the Schroth 4-point more than my stock 3 point belt, but hey, that's just me.
