WHAT DO I DO TO MAKE LS TRACK READY
Aside from all the good advice on the first page of this thread, there is actually a page in the BOSS Owner's Manual that tells what owners should do to prepare for track use. Read that ****!
Do NOT buy a Corbeau reclining seat if you're interested in getting a track seat, they have crap welds and will break with time. Their one-piece seats should be fine

This is considered a "free mod" by every amateur race sanctioning body I can think of. Not too comfy for the street, but it makes an enormous difference on the track. You just feel so planted and in control of the car. Really helps.

Don't mean to thread-jack, but I've heard you say that about the Corbeau before, so I would stay away from their recliners, but have you heard if Sparco or Recaro's reclining models are okay (not the Boss Recaro, but their aftermarket ones)?
Steve,
At this time Ford has not formally completed this with us. While we know it is coming we are not able to sign you up until we know when we will get our cars. They are later than expected, but we expect we'll be doing the Boss Attack program for Ford this year, and I suspect soon than later. I'll make certain you are among the first to know dates once we do. If you need to make arrangements now for time off I'd encourage doing it in the second half of the year until further notice…let's stay in touch on this and feel free to call me anytime.

I'd be willing to bet that both the OEM and aftermarket Recaros will be fine. Corbeau just makes cheap product.
that day would be good for me to, but brian would not take my booking. I'm going for the extra day to. what are you paying? I think the fr500 is 1395.00 extra, 995.00 for a gt, is that wright? thanks
p.s. not going if there are no boss's
p.s. not going if there are no boss's
If a Boss or LS owner were going that route of fully replacing them, I'm sure those OEM Recaro's would sell real quick, likely more than what an aftermarket would cost!

MODS
How about a stickey?
Is this the correct part for our 2012 Boss for SS Brake Lines?
Any other good options out there?
I checked TOPBRAKES.com and they did not list the Goodridge option as available. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place.

Just curious, but does our Boss owners manual recommend changing out the OE brake lines for these stainless steel braided lines?
If it does good to know.
If it does not, why do you think it is "necessary"?
