Uggh! I don't have any more info on mine but both cars were built around the same time so your may have company back at the plant....

I hope not Steve! However, if they both get loaded the same day we ought to get them at about the same time.

My dealer here in Houston assures me the service dept is ready to activate the key after delivery.

Latest update from Ford Customer service is that my car shipped yesterday from Ramp 5P with an ETA to the dealer of Monday March 21st. They couldn't give me a rail car number so I'm taking that with a grain of salt.

Have them read this and then see if they're still that confident:

Lean on your salesman to get Visibility updates and email them to you.

My suggestion now that you have a vehicle identification number
1) Ford's computer updates on Thursdays. Check with your dealer Friday morning.

2) keep checking for your window sticker:
http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...BP8CUxC5xxxxxx (replace those x with your correct characters)

3) Window stickers are about one week prior to production. If you can't read the dealer's name on your window sticker, PM me your eMail and vehicle identification number and I'll do my best to get a more complete sticker to you.

4) Your dealer will have the production date and a guess for the ETA

5) It's built, then goes to VPC for striping, etc., goes back to plant.

6) Ships - your dealer will have a railcar or truck depending on your distance.

7) If railcar, track using the toll-free number. You'll need your railcar number and whether or not it's ETTX or SP or ...

Have patience!!!!

Great summary! The railcar tracking number is 800-235-2352. Use the tip in #7.

I move everything by truck. I'm starting to see why most specialty goods are moved by truck and commodities are moved by rail. Takes forever on a train.........

Yesterday I was supposed to stop and pickup 6 loaded autorack cars for delivery to Omaha, but was told to highball the P/U because of congestion and time, so someone, make that allot of someones cars, are sitting in Ashland Nebraska instead of Omaha.
