I watched much of the (ten minute) video and didn't see anything about a dash. It was mostly about a Sync type system for the Porche.

 

you see glimpse of it changing views as the camera pans around the car. basically that customizable dash is part of the system they talk about. it allows the driver to change the layout to his needs. the one i like is the track layout you see early on through the wheel spokes that shows a single large tach and the outline of the nurburgring with a dot for the position of the car. sort of sounds like myford touch on steroids.

 

Oh yeah that is cool. A decade from now all cars with have a completely digital dash. You can see a small photo of it on their website.

Its technolagy thats been in aviation for some time now....i.e. glass cockpit....with exception of the phone stuff. Very cool.
