Well, he posted that if his oil consumption problems wouldn't stop soon he'll get rid of the car. Guess he was serious!

Tis true... I traded it on the 2012 Explorer. And as another member said, I was serious when I said I would get rid of it.

Now, i understand others cars use less oil and some use more than mine did. Brandon Ford did all the test they were asked to perform and deemed the consumption "Normal". I don't agree with that assessment. I shopped the car around for a GT500 or a Vette. Vette didn't excite me. New GT500s are up there in price. While searching the wife's car started having issues and was becoming unreliable. I made the decision to trade for a car for her and after summer get myself another mustang after the new 2013s hit the showrooms. I am also leaving the option open for a used 2011/2012 GT500. I work so many hours this time of year that i really wouldn't drive the Boss a lot right now anyways....

How much oil were you using? Also what was the mileage at when you traded it in.

told me 42k when i asked and sat in it

i said i can get a new one for that

also probably why they still have 2 new ones left. the stickers had 2k adm on both. i did not ask for a price on them though
