Used Boss 302 Price?
Due to a very personal (please don't ask) and agonizing situation, I have no option but to sell my Boss.
The Boss is in 9.95 condition with Recaro/Torsen option, Corsa Exhaust, Alpine Speakers & Subwoofer with Dual Amplifiers, 3K miles.
I need suggestions for an asking price + realistic selling price, as well as where is the best place to list it.

I've been very successful with Cars.com. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. So soon! If you want a quick sale, price it about 1k under the lowest equivalent car.

Bummer man. Sorry to hear.
I know earlier in the year you were so excited about the car.
I agree about cars.com
Remember, you're competing with dealers who are selling a brand new car. HOWEVER, usually those dealer ads are bait and switch. You know, listing it for MSRP, the buyer calls and all of a sudden there is a $5,000 adm.
So, I think you have a very good chance of selling your car. Keep the price realistic. Someone out there is looking for your car!
Good luck!!!

Sorry to hear you have to sell your boss. If I didn't have one already I would be willing to pay about 2k under sticker. Mainly because of the Alpine Speakers, Subwoofer, and exhaust. Good luck with the sale!

I would guess 1K under sticker may be a good point to start. Sorry to hear about this, I know how much you love the Boss. List it over at bossmustangsonline and boss302.com in the cars for sale and new boss section.

I would also suggest an ad in the Mustang Times. If you are not a member of MCA, here is the link:
http://www.mustang.org/
This will get you coverage within the Mustang family.
Also, if you have any connections in Omaha, you can also try an ad in the Offutt AFB newspaper, which would give you coverage within the active, reserve and retired military community.
Best of luck.
