I would have just cut him a check but he never called me back after asking me to call him this morning so we could discuss details. Then has the nevere to get back on SVTPerformance and say he sold it this afternoon. The guy could have at least clued me in this morning. Oh well!
Ever had someone with something but would not sell it to you for any reason?
Totally off subject but I recall a time when I got a phone call about a guy that had a VW he wanted to sell and needed a truck. Well my truck was on CL....the guy gave me a shout and asked me if I would be interested in trading my truck for his bug...the guy called me...not the other way around...
So I say sure.... I go out and take a look at his bug and I like it.
He looked at my truck and said he would trade. Keep in mind I am about 45 minutes drive from him. So I drive back home and pick up a missing dash panel to the truck that the guy wanted that I had missing. I get back, and when I get back the guy had a different "tune"
he goes something like this.. Well I have a nother bud that really wants my bug and he has "cash"... so I am like WTF?
Im like hum...... Well do ya want to trade or not??
At this point I am getting nerved because I really did like his VW and I wanted it but all I had was my truck as I had not sold it yet. I had very little cash on me. So he thinks about it, and says yeah... Ill trade go get the title.... So.... Now I drive an hour in the other direction to my moms house where my title is...and an hour back to where the bug is.....
I get back.. the guy still has a different tune... He has the nerve to say this... "Go sell your truck and get back with me on it...."
So I wasted about 4 good hours of MY time on this. I drive back home pissed off more than ever as this guy had contacted me first, I had not contacted him. He calls me back about three days later to tell me his friend bought the bug................
Some people are just loosers plain and simple..

When I saw this one was sold, I went out and bought one.
Just picked it up this afternoon.
It has the Recaro/Torsen and Floor Mats/Car Cover options.
Been driving it all day and my face is starting to hurt from the perma-grin.

I am an EX chevy guy too as of this boss thing...
I had eight 68 camaros, and two 86 irocs, an 82 camaro, a 92, and several trans ams... I had a 2012 ZL1 built this year that I ordered back in Nov...
I got so tired of dealing with the crap.. The ZL1 sat on the lot since Feb...
and I decided I was not going to take delivery of it for many reasons... one being I can save about $16k by buying the boss over the Z, and STILL stomp its *** in the ground if I want.
Now I am hoping to have my 13 boss by this aug... with ULTRA-GRIN attached!
btw... My plan was to offer $1600 under MSRP which is about halfway between invoice and retail much like you did on the boss...Are you saying they wont budge on this at all???? It wont be a deal breaker for me though..
