Transmission Groaning Noise
Suspension Groaning Noise
I'm revising this thread because after reading all of the posts on transmission problems, I think I can eliminate the tranny. I have no problems shifting. What I have is a groaning noise (and clunk through the floor and pedals) when I go over a speed bump, but it only happens when the car is warmed up. It is most noticeable when I go over a speed bump at an angle, so that one front wheel goes over slightly before the other. My street has speed bumps and thus they're unavoidable. It is very strange that this noise happens only when the car is warm and never when it's cold; it seems counter intuitive. I would appreciate any thoughts you guys have on this issue.
Thanks,
Alex
