To trade my 2011 GT Brembo for a 2012 BOSS?
They did allocate them, but I'm not sure if by quarter. Every dealer got one and the rest were allocated by Share of Nation based on dealership sales. I bought mine off a dealer showroom. Actual production for '07 was 10,800 versus the projected 7k. '08 was something like 8500 and the two year run became, well, now a 6 year run and counting?

Yes. In a nutshell, priority was based on individual Ford dealers' sales volume, were required to pay a fee to place orders, and train their technicians in order to qualify. SVT dealers were no longer exclusive to the model.

My money is on them following the original 69/70 production run as you can see in the stripe design for the 2012/2013. There's one big difference between the Shelby GT500 and the Boss 302. SHELBY
Not that I am still bitter about paying MSRP for my previous "6500 only" car
Sorry it's not. This has been confirmed by multiple official sources.
This one for example.

That's a very nice 1971 Boss 351. (note not legendary Boss 302)
300AGT, Thanks!, I wil do that.
Somebody knows where to get those Recaro seats (from the Bose)?. Cost?, Since mine has electrical seats, do you think I will be able to adapt them, and use the motorized base?

You also need to consider the business dynamics of Ford as well. Ford is at the top of the automotive food chain right now. If there ever was a time when ford could make a true limited production car the time is now, o yeah and 69 and 70.
Guys, just to finish my BOSS issue. I went to the dealership, they did not honor my X plan print out. They mentioned that since this car was a limited production and a special car, it had to go with a $5000 mark up, but they where willing to put me on a waiting list, and may sell to me another on MSRP, the trade in price for my '11 GT Brembo was not clear at this time. So either way I had a chance to park my red brembo right beside the orange and black BOSS jus to compare it.
Definitive the BOSS is a nice pice of machine, but I think FORD could have done better with the exterior of the car. The orange color looks better in magazines or in the internet pictures, I did not like the bright black paint on the wheels and rear spoiler
, I think it they should look better in flat black, I prefeer the look of the fog lights in the front grill ((as the regular GT looks), the two round circles in the grill without the fog lights looks very strange to me, like something is missing. I like better my big horse emblem. On the rear tail pipe muffler, they look huge, but you are able to see the internal tubes of the mufflers from behind. Now to mention what I really liked, first of all those GREAT Recaro seats, I seated on them, and they felt right on position without any movement, those will be great on the track. The front spoiler looks nice and agressive, the rear diffuser also looks great. On the pictures that I saw, I was not very convinced about the stripes, but they really look great (my personal choice will be white with black). They did no allow me to start the engine, I look for the side mufflers, but they are not easy to find.
This was only my personal and humble opinion. I really think that you will get a great car.
After my visit I went back with my '11 red GT Brembo, still very happy with my car
, since I really liked more the exterior of my car.
Sat on my computer and placed my order order with Sam Strano (stranoparts.com)for my new Steeda Sport Springs & KONI STRT shocks. (I went for the STRT instead of the yellows adjustable, since I don't think I will be adjusting them. After I receive them, now it will be time to go and face those Porsches in my local PCA track
Thanks Guys for all of your suggestions, they really help me.
Enjoy your new BOSS!.

And by the way, it was later communicated that the Mach 1 was meant to be a 2-year program and that the early "official" documentation was incorrect.
So, in my opinion, the moral of the story is "Pay for what you what you want when you want it, but be prepared to pay according to the market conditions of the moment. Early adopters might generally pay more, later adopters might pay less."
Understand that - however, the economic outlook could certainly turn on a dime this year with the volatility of the situation in Japan, etc., etc.
