Traction control

Does the Trac control go on and off if you have the torsen diff, or is torsen always engaged?

I'm not an expert, but... I think the trans-Lok and Torque sensing Diff is separate from the electronic traction control. The Traction control is limiting power from the engine to the wheels via fuel and pulsing brakes to wheels turning out of sequence to straighten the forward motion of the vehicle. I can see how a Torsen Diff could be involved in the same event. I would be interested in hearing from someone "in the Know". I am assuming the Torsen is always active.
