Why the TracKey idle won't make it out as is.

In this new video the TracKey idle is shown, the comment that caught my attention is: "It smells different..."

That tells me as that as is, the idle part of the tune likely won't pass CARB.
The comment comes at the 3:00 mark in the clip.

I hope you're wrong about that...the idle lope is badass.

I'm really perplexed as to why Ford doesn't sell this "for off road use only " like others do with catless x-pipes etc

I'm going to have to break down and buy one. I've never been good about "capturing memories". Don't like to take pictures and rarely if ever videotaped my kids grade school plays lol. Won't happen for this trip but I'll see about ordering one when I get back. Looks like the gopro would work fine, just need to figure out where to mount it.

I/O Port rollcage mount is best, IMO, but you don't have a cage (yet), right?

I would use either a Panavise 809 suction mount or a Delkin mount (looks to be the same thing w/ an extension). I own both. Haven't used the Delkin one yet but it should be here soon. Can stick to any flat surface.

GoPros come with their own mounting, search for the "Motorsports" kit. Make sure you get an HD gopro, if you go that route--the standard ones SUCK.

I'm interested in a cage-less mount also. Some track events don't allow suction mounts.

They are not expecting a vast majority of people to take advantage of this program. That may be true as we here are more hard core into the Boss compared to the total numbers of owners.

The hard number for the LS this year is 750. Mostly likely next year also. Total number will be less then 4000 including LS's maybe less but not more. All Bosses have been allocated to the dealers so if a dealer tells you then can get another made that is a lie.

I was told that setting five on the Boss does not equal one on the LS. He was not 100% certain but he said it was something in between 2-3 or right around three on the LS to the Boss's five
scott- are you saying all allocated numbers are filled / ordered meaning there are no new orders allowed?

Right no cage yet. I briefly looked at the GoPro HD Motorsports version online this morning. Wondered about whether I needed to order an additional SD memory card. Here's a pic with my Enkeis painted black and some new rubber. Stuffed a 285/35/18 555RII up front with 305/35/18 rears. Gave me the staggered offset I was looking for and as close to stock height for gearing/top speed limiter I could piece together. I also ordered a set of Laguna Seca 19" wheels black with machined face and mounted Hoosier R6 295/30/19 and 265/30/19 on them. They'll just ride in the pickup as backups for this event though. Don't want to burn them up yet, and will probably wait for Road America to try them.

Holy crap have I hijacked the **** out of this thread.

Uh, what?

Both of the camera mounts I mentioned are available from Amazon should you decide to use something other than GoPro.
