Took Delivery Today!
My car just arrived at the dealer at 6:30am this morning. By 10am I was leaving the lot with a big grin

#1241.
First thing after leaving the dealer I stopped at a friend's house and pulled the restrictor plates out of the side pipes, she sounds MEAN. I have a set of Roush mufflers in the garage already waiting to replace the stockers.
Then we broke her in with a 250mi round trip drive to Prescott AZ up the AZ 89, one of the most scenic drives in the country. Forum member Capt. Distraction joined us (as did a few other friends) in their cars.
She pulls like a freight train all the way to the rev limiter at 7500 rpm. Clutch is way lighter than in my '06. Recaro seats are super-comfortable and supportive.

Gauge sweep @ startup :mamoru:

Thanks to FCS and Don Sanderson Ford for putting up with my constant pestering and update requests!
It is worth every penny.

I need to drop her back at the dealer later this week to get the clearbra/alarm/tint installed.

Awesome car man, was great to see the proper boss302 break-in procedure completed:
1) Pick up car
2) Immediately remove baffles in sidepipes
3) Find twisty roads, attack corners with liberal application of speed and finesse.
4) Discuss above awesomeness.
Definitely jealous of the easy to read gauges, and fantastic seats. FRPP better hurry up and get their version to market. I'm hoping I can get a gauge face manufacturer onboard for us little GT people to also build a gauge face that's in the BOSS/SVT font/style.

5) find passenger rear tire completely f'n flat after installing Roush exhaust tonight
Big piece of metal all the way to the cord

I am wondering if my dealer will replace it for free, that is probably wishful thinking however. And even if they do, I dunno if they would have one in stock.
Looks like my car is going to be on jackstands in my garage for at least tomorrow.
CRAP!

The idle is definitely louder w/ the Roush ABs.
Here is a picture of me removing the passenger side exhaust restrictor in my buddy's driveway, 20 mins after taking delivery at the dealer.
I know this is absolutely terrible jacking etiquette so no need to go there

Congrats on the car! Sorry to hear about the flat tire. I think that when a car is that new they do replace them, and the amount the customer pays is a pro-rated amount based on mileage. With barely 200 miles on the tire, they will probably pick up almost the whole bill.
Congrats, hopefully we will see you around town sometime, just out of curiousity I noticed your tach has a red area is this supposed to be a shift light?, cause mine does not do that, anyone elses have that feature?
Big time congrats on the delivery! You waited a whole 20 minutes to remove the plates?
Good luck on the rear tire - even our place can get non-stocked stuff like that in one day. Even if they say it will be awhile, you can always get it patched until a new one arrives.

Needle sweep at startup + long camera exposure = red zone

I used jackstands when I got back home to put the roush exhaust on. Had to work with what I had at hand for the plates.
I definitely want a replacement tire though.
