Not patchable. Leak verified underwater but the guys at the tire place couldn't find an actual puncture after dismounting from the wheel.

Car is sitting on jackstands until I can get a new tire...

I ran mine this weekend without the inserts. Mom and the baby were fine with it, I imagine at some stage I'll reinsert them. It's a bit on the loud side.

I was never offered a tire warranty. Too late to purchase?

New tire arrived today, getting mounted now. Didn't make it in time to get it done during lunch.

Going to have the car back on the ground after work :coold:

Congrats on delivery, bummer about the tire... I was leaning towards Kona as my first choice for a Boss, but I think Race Red is changing my mind after seeing the forum member pix...

Excellent. I need to get a pair of those in that size, I'm still on a square 255/40/19 Pzero setup.

Also, you need to let me buy you an offroad X pipe

You can buy road hazard full replacement warrantees at Discount Tire and the like. I think I was quoted around $54/tire. Pricey due to the cost of the tires. Your other option was to try the tire inflation/sealant stuff in your trunk.

I like that idea but I'm not going to be putting any aftermarket calibrations on this car until the warranty is up. TracKey only.

Did put the Roush mufflers on the other night, gonna get a chance to test them out finally today

How's that sound?

edit: I was somewhat kidding about the Xpipe, but now that I think about it, I might just post up in a month or two once trackkey is out and see if anyone on this forum wants to bite (I figure after trackkey is out SCT should start to get a hold on tuning Boss cars and we'll see more people interested in modifications like that).

It will be here soon enough and the wait will be forgotten--trust me.

She got plenty of action on day 1...but yeah she is itching to hit the track, and so am I.

Roush exhaust + open sidepipes sounds amazing.

Got the tire installed today as soon as I got home, finally got her back on the ground and out driving again. It's crazy how much faster it is than my GT, and it wants to RUN.

Is it just me or do the adjusters for the rear shocks require a thinner screwdriver than the fronts? Or is mine slightly defective?

In the car how much did the Roush change the sound?

Compared to open side pipes it is less "blatty", and noticeably louder. Get on the throttle hard and they really scream.

Cruising in 5th or 6th with light throttle, they are barely louder than stock.

There is drone under load at low RPM. Nothing shocking there. Easily avoided by downshifting a gear.
