Time for my 1st oil change - best oil for oil and filters?

Is Amazon at $52.83 for 6 qts. of Mobil 1 5W-50 with free shipping and $12 rebate the best deal going? This nets out to just slightly under $7 per quart.

Mobil 1 106035-CASE 5W-50 Rally Formula Motor Oil - 1 Quart, (Pack of 6) : Amazon.com : Automotive Mobil 1 106035-CASE 5W-50 Rally Formula Motor Oil - 1 Quart, (Pack of 6) : Amazon.com : Automotive

Also, what's the correct Ford filter number for the standard 2013 Boss 302 and what's the best source. Tousley?

Also, what size form-a-funnel is best?

Thanks in advance.

You will need more then 6 quarts also. 8.5 with filter change. BTW, the Motorcraft part number is a FL-500S, Advance auto has them.

I sure wish I would have found a sale on that oil!! Dammit!

Go with the FL820 which is the filter for the GT500, yes it fits, and it is larger so I feel like it is filtering oil better. Several guys have switched to it with no issues.

A lot of times the 5 qt. jug of Mobil 1 at Wal Mart works out to about $6 per quart.

Getting it at WalMart would be great but as far as I know they don't carry 5w-50, at least I haven't seen it there. Does your WalMart carry it?

I am so sorry, I was thinking of the Mobil 1 5w20, which most of my other cars take.

However, as some here have mentioned, NAPA has been the place to go lately for Mobil 1, you usually have to request it, and they will have it in a day or two.
