For those with MM Caster/Camber plates....a ?

Will the stock strut tower brace go back on and fit properly after the MM caster/camber plates are installed?

Yes, does not effect it at all.

Concur.
Scott, how much camber do you have set? Is that square?
I've got -2.4 deg, and mine are almost at the edge of the center hole.

I'm set at -2.2 and one side is near the middle and one is near the inside edge. Every car's going to be a little different.

I guess since mine are even, my car is built straight.

Does anybody set up their camber/caster/toe themselves? If so, what tools/kits are you using for measuring their settings?

Nope.
Had the dealer install plates and do the alignment.

Install wasn't too bad (I'm running Vorshlag plates). You'll need a spring compressor (free rental at AutoZone) and a variety of hand tools (13mm, 17mm, 18mm and 21mm all come to mind).

I set them by eye first (actually got it pretty close) and then put it on an alignment rack.

-2.3* Camber, +6.7* caster and zero toe.

In the past (and would have done it this time but I got lazy) I've used a smartcamber gauge and Longacre toe plates. Just ran out of time and energy.

Does everybody run the same settings for street and track? Is -2.0* camber okay for tire wear on the street, too?

I adjust at the track. Full outboard for street, full inboard (plus fine adjustments based on tire temps) at the track.

I'm running -2.0 on the GT500 and have run the street tires two full seasons (12k miles) with no increased tire wear. I ran the Boss at -2.4 all summer on the street tires and no noticable wear. I have toe set at zero on both cars.

Now track tires, that's another story The upside is they do wear evenly but only last about 4-500 miles.

I only went -1.8 to start with, can always change later as I get better. I can still feel a big difference on the track and it has been OK for the street. It pulls into grooves on the street when changing lanes but not overwhelming. Don't know about the tire wear yet as it has few street miles since I added the plates.
