I'm not really sure. I think you would have to be pretty good with VIN's to know for sure, since most other makes might not have build number plates on the engines.
I remember they uncovered a 87 ZR-1 prototype test car in England at one point (it was in rough shape). And someone else had a preproduction version of the ZR-1 in a collection.
They didn't do a real professional job of getting rid of the test cars in England, they used a backhoe and smashed the cars and left them in a field.
The blue car has been restored with parts found at the site I believe .
