Apparently the stripes aren't painted, they are gloss the same way the 2012s are.

 

huh? they came out and said they were painted when this car was built. can the owner confirm? (i'd love mine painted)

 

From the owner's posted pics: you will see that in the last pic (also shown below) the car is back on the line, no stripes on the hood.

"the car was described by Dave Pericak (chief engineer behind mustang) at the raffle drawing. The paint was wet sanded and then polished for a show car finish, the wheels are Ford racing and the stripes have a gloss finish (the only one with gloss stripes)."
