Springs

Anyone know the spring rates for the standard Boss? I know Ford has done an excellent job of tuning the springs and dampers, but that wheel gap is horrible.

I don't like my car slammed by any means, about a 1" - 1.5" drop would make me satisfied. See pic that I photoshopped

Any recommendations on springs yet ??

That looks great, since the boss has adj dampers it will be easier to tune them to the set of springs. I just want to get close to the stock spring rate, since they've done such a good job with the balance and handling of this car.
Anyone know the spring rates for the standard and LS boss??

I went with Steeda Ultralites and they still ride really well. Gave my about a 1.25 drop in front, 1.5 in back. Very satisfied with the results.

Love the lowered look with those SVTPP wheels...but I wouldn't touch a thing on this car until driving it for quite some time. Ford put a lot of work into this suspension to make sure everything was matched up properly, putting a random set of aftermarket springs into the mix probably isn't going to help (other than achieving the lowering you desire).

I think I requested this picture a while ago. But thank you because this is AWESOME!

Great chop and it looks as good as I had hoped.

I agree with you. But if you had the time and space (and money) I'd throw on the best Steeda Springs money could buy for a nice street appearance every once in a while. I'd also try it at the track but I would only rely on the Ford Springs for real use.

I would think Ford Performance will have lowering springs available sometime in the future.
