Just did this to mine using some parts leftover from the 95 car. Surprising how much crap you pull out of the car with this mod. Nice now that I can clean up a bit easier under the master cylinder reservoir.

Got my kit fast, thanks

Took me 30 seconds to remove the old tube, two seconds to pop in the firewall plug and how fast you can tighten a clamp for the rest. For the guys that do not do their own work, don't worry you can do it your self with a 10 MM socket and screwdriver.

For the sound, not too much different. In a way I like it since you can hear the motor better for real - not the way it sounds in a tube, if that makes sense. I can also hear the exhaust note a little better (7/8 discs). It is not a grand difference but the whole point is cleaning up the engine compartment anyway.

Old pipe and pipe out

Connection points bare and with Kendall's kit installed. The last is a newer clean look

Yeah, Scott.... thanks for the pics! Remember, the kit also includes a rubber grommet that can be used in the future instead of the plug. This is an ideal place to pass any wires from the interior to the exterior of the car - in which case the plug can be discarded in favor of the grommet!

Agree with Scott, can't really tell any difference in sound.Running the 3/4 disc's in the side pipes and car sounds great.

That plug in the firewall looks like it came from a piggy bank. Just gave me an idea...

As far as I know the intakes are the same, so, Yes.

Ordered one. I've been thinking that tube was kinda ugly.

One of you guys pulling the tube assembly off your car needs to ship it to me, still wanting one to experiment with.

Removed mine today. Used the existing clamp instead of the hose clamp "just because". Keeping the tube to be able to go stock if necessary for eventual sale.

I'M DOING THE SAME IN USING THE EXISTING CLAMP. IT LOOKS MORE FACTORY / CLEANER THAN A HOSE CLAMP.
