Okay, my bad. I totally didn't clue in that Comp Orange and Yellow Blaze were off the list. However, the list I posted was straight from the 2012 Mustang order banks and was specific to the 500A (Boss 302 - not Laguna Seca). Order banks are closed tonight and tomorrow for routine upgrades, so I'll check again Monday to see how it shakes out. I'll check on stripe combos, as well then.

So if this is true the CO Boss could possibly be the rarest of the new Mustangs as the CO was only on the Boss for a short time, followed by Sonic Blue...but that is available on ALL Mustangs, right? Then maybe YB as that was available on all Stangs but pretty rare! Am I correct in this train of thought???

I am not sure if CO will be cut but yes for the most part you are correct. I do think in the long run CO will be the most popular color on the Boss itself. Even if there is not a lot of YB's on this board there are quite a few in the plate number thread. I did hear YB was out in 13, we shall see, it was only in job 2 of 11 and not many people knew about it. It never showed up on the "build you own" section so it was the rarest color by far in MY 11.

I never liked that Ford offered so few color choices, so it's nice to see some additions. I know all car makers do this, and for cost reasons, but it would be nice if 10+ color choices were available for all cars.

If Yellow blaze is out for 13 and Comp. Orange continuies. Then one would think that YB would be the more rare for the Boss. I only say this because there will be far more Comp. Orange Boss then Yellow Blaze. Doese anyone know to date how many YB were produced to Comp. Orange. I see more Comp. Orange on sites then Yellow Blaze. What Comp. Orange has going for it is that it only came on the Boss. But when you take the Boss only model and colors produced. The color that is produced the least will become the rarest. Who Knows........Maybe White. Only time can tell! I feel that you should purchase your Boss the color that you like and not even think which one will be the rarest and let that impact your color choice. Pick the color that you will enjoy driving. And drive it proud!!

So........ Ford updated the order banks over the weekend. Here are the colors showing this morning for '12 Boss 302's....

Laguna Secas are now showing just black and silver (grabber blue shows just for that BJ edition).

That would be the smart thing to do. To offer Two blue cars with white stripes would be crazy. Time will tell how this will all play out.

Brian can you please check on this? Is the availability of the SB still Job 2 (whatever that means )?

From the pics I've seen SB has some purple in it. At first I thought it was more of a classic color like Vista Blue. Some pics show more of a bright royal blue pearl and others show mostly purple. Does Ford have SB on any of their current cars where I could go check out ther color on the lot?

I agree w/ Boss Man. A SB B302 will have black stripes unless they stop Kona Blue production. It would make no sense to have two blue cars with white stripes.

Black flows soooooo much better then white. what Kills the KB is the white roof and Black wheels. I think that all roof pannels should be an opition. This would help people in there choices on slecting a color. I loved the KB and white stripes. I just did'nt like the white roof with Black rims. These two colors worked against each other.

This. I'm in complete agreement and plan on replacing the rear spoiler with a carbon fiber GT500 w/Gurney Flap within the first couple of weeks of owning the car. I'm also going to replace the high gloss black wheels with SVT PP wheels immediately. The high gloss black just doesn't flow with the high gloss white.
