Soliciting opinions on rear window louvers
Thanks, I was sure I was going to have to paint them. It is not a 100% match but close enough to look good. I may in the future but not for now. I would rather change the shinny paint on the car and stripes but way too costly.
Too more pics

Middle ha! Begining of

Going to leave them for now, work on the roof, trunk lid and spoiler. See how that all looks when done.
Wow. Way better than I expected.
Just did them this evening, went for a quick ride to check for rattles but only around the block. You really do not even notice them from inside while driving.
Two sticky pads up top with two studs each side, holds adjustable hinges attached to the louver body with two nuts each side. Two sticky pads on the bottom with a stud that has a swing type latch to unhook them to lift up. Then two sticky pad attach to the upper corners to avoid rubbing on the glass when lifting up. It comes with two rods to hold them up for cleaning.
I am just explaining the best I can, please no replies using the words - sticky swing rod stud nuts rubbing - or any combo thereof.

If I was able to buy a new Boss, I would have one just like yours. I love the louvers because of the reasons mentioned before, sun/heat blocking and cool retro look. That is why they were the first mod I did on my '89 LX hatch when purchased new.

Nope, I will snap a few shots tomorrow. You stick down the top brackets, bolt the louvers to it, stick the bottom brackets and they attach with a clip that swings to lock in place. The bottom bracket has a sort of stud that goes through a hole in the bottom side of the louver. The pics will show it better tomorrow.
