That's a surprise. Calls for a GT500 boiled down to take it or leave it ADMs, the "you won't find another like this one" routine, and one hell of an arrogant attitude. They must have realized a $50K plus Mustang is not that easy to sell regardless of the model.

 

I'm sure that had something to do with the attitude change.

 

I've bought 6 new stangs in less than 10 years, and never from Sawgrass Ford. They are very close to where I live, but they never wanted to deal, especially when I purchased an 01 Bullitt, 03 Mach1 and early 05 GT.

 

I called my brother to tell him about this, so he gave them a call. Asked for the sales manager and was put on hold for 5 minutes, then hung up on. Called back and the hangup was much quicker. Gave up after that.

 

both are sold now.
