Mine was built 2/16 and was #0127...but I can always say I was the 2nd person in the US and 1st on the eastern seaboard to take retail delivery!!!

Cool, you could be the first to post pix of a delivered YB Boss. I know I want to see it. Congrats!

What was you build date on the sticker and blend #, it is weird that 112 would be build that day. Maybe that number does not have anything to do with the order down the line.

you are right! It is the order the cars are Boss'd LOL. Maybe s197 can chime in here but iirc the Bosses are numbered after they get the stripes etc at the VPC

Regardless, I'd be proud of any number Boss!

Hi Locke62,
No, there is no build number on the VIN. During production scheduling gets arranged so that cars with similar features and options are built in the same batch. The order in which the cars are built is at the plant’s discretion. Therefore, there is not way of verifying your car’s production sequence.

So how many are going to be built for 2012?? Or is production open to keep up with demand? I was hoping this car would be limited production, but there have been many conflicting stories about total production...Could you please clarify this for us???

I'm going to tag on to this thread rather than starting a new one, but I just got back from my dealer who just got in a Yellow Blaze today (interestingly, they still don't have an ETA on mine). It was under showroom lights, but I think you YB guys are going to be very happy, it looks very good with those stripes. The auto show around here isn't until next week, so this is the first one I've seen in real life, they let me sit in it too . It has the Recaro's, and for a different perspective than what I've seen people report, I'm only 5'7" 140lbs, and I thought the seats felt great also. They weren't at all too low, so most people shouldn't have to worry about that. If I have time this weekend I might try to get some pics if it isn't sold by then .
