Rolling with the Shelby Club
I had the pleasure of driving a few hundred miles today with the guys from the Shelby Club. We met up a a centralized location and then rolled out in a posse.
It was fun taking the freeway onramp at full throttle and NOT catching up with the 4 guys ahead of me.
This is what it looks like to be hunted by a 624hp 2011 GT350!
We pulled into Sears Pt to take a "family photo." Lots of creamy goodness, including a Super Snake!
The destination was Denbeste Motorsports in Windsor, CA. Incredible collection of Shelby's with a couple of Bosses sprinkled in for good measure! Too bad we missed 'ol Shel by a week. Since Denbeste is the world's largest Shelby Cobra dealer he makes it up there from time to time.

Whats up with that BOSS 302 in the picture, 5th up from the bottom? Is it just heavily modded?
I'll have to check that place out. I wonder how far it is from where I live...

No problem guys. Next up is Tahoe in Sept. I guess we'll have a run from Sac to North Shore (Calling 5 DOT 0) where we'll have them on display for a few hours right on the lake. It's a thrill to be driving fast in tight formation and everyone is paying attention. BTW- Those GT350's will just pull away from me. The stock Shelby's couldn't lose me but I couldn't really catch them either. Perfect for playing follow the GT350! Funny some guy in a Mercedes SUV was being passed by us all and was just flipping everyone off. Old guy, family in car, in Napa out wine tasting or something and he's giving us all the bird!
Also this coming Feb we're going to Vegas for a big bash at Shelby American for their 50th anniversary. Last time they drove down there were 100+ cars in a line! Can you imagine being with so many cars for that long? The trip will consist of some very long and straight hwy's where the Shelby is king.
Found some other pics online this morning.

GT350s are fast but stupendously ugly.
