Road & Track - Motown Mile '12 Boss v. '15 GT
There is a new king of the 'stangs. In the February 2015 issue of Road and Track, the 2015 GT laps the R&T test track "the Motown Mile" in 56.81 seconds, the 2012 Boss 302 in 58.39. IRS and stickier Pirellis on the '15 are credited with the win.

I posted something similar on BMO I believe, testing done by Vorshlag, and there were gripes about the validity. Wonder how people are going to feel about this news.

the 2012 Boss Vorshlag tested was mine (vs the 2015 GT)
...rear shocks and tires were shot when Terry drove it so my Boss was not running at 100%
I'm now working on get the Boss to 105%....

It's always good to hear a bit more of the story. Here is a link to Vorshlag's blog entry, maybe Terry could comment on his tests.

I have no gripes. Just don't brag about how bad a car beat another around a track that was clearly handicapped.
We all know the 15 is faster. I drove one and don't like them. They are too soft. Give me one with boss enhancements, and I'm good

That's interesting to hear, I wonder why Vorshlag didn't state that in their testing.

WOW I hate when Mags publish Crap like this. Lets take a car with no tires and race it against a prepped brand new car. Hell My suburban could give it a run for the money.!!
R&D is Crap!!

I think my Boss's issues were not MAJOR
I still think Terry's comments are 100% reliable and true
I'm looking for "retesting" :-)
My Boss is no longer running oem suspension nor tires nor brake pads
