Red Key vs Silver Key mpg
Finally getting Trackey installed next week. I was just curious for those that have it...how much different is fuel consumption with the red key as opposed to the normal key? I get about 18 mpg average for a tank right now, but I was just curious how much different it is or isn't.

I haven't had mine long but I haven't noticed a huge difference. About 16 mpg
My question is it normal for the throttle to take a while to become active. It basically is not responsive until about 5 minutes in???

No difference that I can tell.
If anything, I used the regular key on the way to Dallas for the BOSS meet earlier this month, got about 22.5mpg on the 3 hr drive. On the way back, I used TK, initially got up to 23.5mpg, then it settled back down around 22.3-22.5. This was cruising at about 8-9mph over the speed limit (70-75).

It's not just will power. I average 18mpg per tank. The thing is I have a decent amount of cruise time going from my smaller town to the next town over. So while cruising, I'm getting 22-23 mpg or so. When I'm in town, I accelerate very nicely from any standstill, but that doesn't happen all the time either. If I had a bunch of city driving with stop and go traffic, I doubt I would be in double digits lol

Just to throw this out there, since none of us seem to be seeing the advertised 17/26mpg on the window stickers....

(I personally don't give two s***s about mpg, I find true value in the smile on my face while driving, and the looks from people gawking as I drive by.)

We own 4 vehicles between the wife and myself. 5.0, 5.7, 6.0, 6.2. I don't look at gas prices anymore. I fill them up when they need gas and go on about my business. Would I rather gas be $1/gal? Of course, but I don't see it changing anytime soon. I'll enjoy my gas guzzlers while I still can.

This. This is why I can't wait to get the BOSS over to Germany. Part of me is willing to completely bypass the 15 months in Spain and just get to my second home.

When I see/hear people complain about gas going up by a few cents I honestly get a good hearty laugh. I'm not... what's the term?.... financially well off. I manage what I make well enough and I'm proud of what I've been able to do with my junior enlisted salary. But c'mon man!
Just made this...
