Recommended track instructional books?
I need to add $6 to my amazon order for free shipping (getting the Boss book), and would like to buy something on driving better on the track.
Saw these books:
Going Faster! Mastering the Art of Race Driving
Secrets of Solo Racing: Expert Techniques for Autocrossing and Time Trials
Which is better for learning road course driving?
Any other options that are better?
Since the Boss is better than the driver, I figured I’d see what I can learn.
Thanks

I have Going Faster, good read. I would also recommend the Speed Secrets series by Ross Bentley.

video...
get the 'going faster' video...easier to understand via video than text...and you get the added benefit of reliving some sweet 70's fashion. that's when the term 'shorts' meant something.
seriously, though, all the ones you mentioned are good. another good read is the Art of War by Sun Tzu...it's the best bet for tuning your competitive mind.

If you want to read something funny read "crashed and Byrned" by Tommy Byrne. I know this guy and his storys are all true from his F1 starts untill today. A great guy to go to the pub with.He is the best driver I have ever met and also the worlds greatest screw up.
I added Speed Secrets Professional Race Driving Techniques to the order.
This one is about $10 which hit free shipping.
I'll put the other books on my Christmas list and see if they get added to my collection.
Thanks for the replies.
