Didn't realize how much bigger the car is until I was parked right next to my friend's '04 Cobra. Still smooth at 165mph too.

Yeah it really is a bigger car. I have only gotten mine up to about 150. Still had a hell of a lot left in her. Still felt really stable but also felt really fast. I did 150 in my old impalla SS and that could have been normal cruising speed. Felt like it was made for 150.

Can't wait to get mine over there. How was the 'Ring, Erich? I know it's technically a toll road, was there a lot of traffic? Anybody blow your doors off?

It is a blast! A few cars there that are just blazing around the track. Half of the fun is all the sweet cars you see in the parking lot. Just wish I could have done the track attack prior to going.

Spain is nice but there is absolutely no car scene here. You see the random tricked out Focus but that's about the extent of it. I can't wait to get back to the land of fast cars. I remember humming along on the autobahn in a rental Focus doing about 160kph thinking I was hot stuff when I was about 19yrs old, when a 550 Maranello blew my doors off like I was sitting still. I miss that. lol

Yup. My friend wanted it that way. It also helps a bit when running at 150+mph.
BTW: The Ring is not a public road. You pay per lap (1 lap @ 26 Euros). Here is more about the Ring.

A few months ago I was on vacation with my wife in Europe, we were able to make a stop at the ring. It was a blast, i just wish I had the boss there to take around, but the little Suzuki was still fun.

They were not too hard to install. it took a few hours. I removed the stock hood bumpers and put the pins there. One note if you do use the holes for the hood bumpers, the outer ones will put the latch into the bracing of the hood so it takes a bit of work to make it look nice. I'm working on making a cover for it, but for now i just roughed out the hole and then went back and made it even all the way around.
